COVID-19 PROTOCOLS
Life has been anything but normal since the COVID-19 pandemic happened, and we sincerely hope you and your family are in good health. While many things have changed since then, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your health and safety.
We have always followed strict infection control standards and in order to keep us all protected during this pandemic and in the future, we have updated our protocols. Each of our operatories is now equipped with HEPA filters.
Health regulations requires us to screen twice for each appointment to keep everyone safe.
An automated Pre-Screening email will be sent 1 week ahead, one for each family member who has a scheduled appointment.
Please do the following for each person :
-
Click the “Confirm Appointment” button
-
Read our Covid-19 Patient Risk Acknowledgement note
-
Complete the COVID-19 Pre-Screening questionaire (click “Provide Feedback” button at the end of the email)
A second email will be sent on the day before the appointment.
For each person : please complete the COVID-19 Final Screening questionnaire before coming to your appointment.
You will be asked to wait outside our office or in your car. Please call, text or press the intercom button to let us know that you have arrived. Then wait for a call back to let you know when you can enter the office.
Patients must come to the office alone unless the patient is a minor or requires assistance. If several members of the same family have appointments on the same day, we ask that only patients with an appointment at the scheduled time enter the office. Other family members are asked to wait outside until their scheduled appointment is due.
We will take your temperature with a contactless thermometer upon your arrival. Only patients with a temperature of less than 38C will be permitted to enter.
We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the clinic.
Please bring a mask to your appointment. One will be provided if you do not have one. You will be asked to put on a mask before entering the office. The mask is to remain on your face until treatment begins.
Our waiting room will no longer offer magazines or children’s toys since those items are difficult to fully disinfect.
We will be thoroughly disinfecting surfaces frequently throughout the day. Physical barriers have been installed at the front desk and in each treatment room.
Appointments will be spaced apart to allow for physical distancing between patients. That may result in less flexibility for scheduling your appointment, but it will also reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.
You may be surprised that we’re wearing more protective gear – such as masks, face shields, gowns.
Rest assured, all these procedures are designed to create the safest environment for you, other patients and our team.
We look forward to seeing you. If you have any questions, please contact us.
